RULES & REGULATIONS

GUEST POLICIES

Thank you for choosing our penthouse for your stay. Please review the policies listed below. We hope it will help make your stay as pleasant and smooth as possible.

§1
SUBJECTS OF THE POLICY

1. This document governs the policies applicable to all Guests staying in Fortuna Penthouse, 55b Avenida del Salvador Apt. number 36, 03-170 Rojales, Spain.

2. The landlord is hereinafter referred to as “Fortuna Penthouse”, while the party renting a room is the “Guest”.

§2
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

1. A room is considered to be rented for the minimum of 1 night.

2. Check-in starts at 4.00 pm and ends at 11.00 pm the next day.

3. For all guest’s comfort and safety, it is not allowed to invite people that are not Fortuna Penthouse guests. Should the Guest invite the person that is not Fortuna Penthouse Guest, a penalty fee of 500 EUR will be imposed. Fortuna Penthouse has the right to ask the person who is not the Guest of Fortuna Penthouse to leave the property.

4. An advance deposit of 300 EUR in cash will be required during the check in time. The deposit will be returned on the departure date after the apartment is checked.

5. Should the Guest wish to extend their stay beyond the period indicated upon their arrival, they are requested to do so at least 2 days prior to their departure. Fortuna Penthouse will provide extensions on the basis of room availability.

6. Guests are kindly asked to respect the “quiet time” from 10.00 pm to 7.00 am. Fortuna Penthouse reserves the right to deny service to anyone who does not comply with this rule.

§3
RESERVATION AND CHECK-IN PROCEDURE

1. The reservation of Fortuna Penthouse is possible via Internet, telephone, or email.

2. The reservation is considered to have been made once the confirmation is sent to the e-mail address provided by the client.

3. The Guest obtains access to the apartment by means of a two set of keys and the parking area remote control.

4. The prices provided on Fortuna Penthouse website are gross prices (including VAT).

5. The total fee for the stay is charged in advance.

6. Guests who leave Fortuna Penthouse prior to their scheduled departure date shall not be refunded the fee for the day they check out on.

7. Cancellation policy: 1. Cancelling a reservation – possible with 7 days’ notice prior to arrival with no additional fee. 2. Cancelling a reservation after that time or in the case of not arriving results in charging the Guest 100% of the total stay.

8. Keeping an apartment after 11.00 pm is considered an extension of stay.

9. The Guest agrees to accept a VAT invoice without a signature.

10. The Guest is not allowed to pass on the apartment to a third party, even if the period for which they have made a payment for has not expired.

11. Should the Guest discover an improper provision of service (i.e. incompatible with the reservation conditions and the service/product description on the Fortuna Penthouse website), they are required to notify the service provider immediately by e-mail (36penthousefortuna@gmail.com).

12. The claim shall be resolved within 14 days. 13. Any reimbursement of funds on the basis of a claim shall be credited in a manner consistent with the associated method of payment (i.e. in the case of card payment – to the card account, in the case of a wire transfer – to the bank account from which the transfer was made).

§4
RETURN OF LOST ITEMS

1. Personal items inadvertently left behind in the room by the Guest will be shipped at the Guest’s expense to the address provided.

2. In the case of not receiving instructions from the Guest with respect to the items left behind, Fortuna Penthouse will store the property at the owner’s expense for the period of 1 month, after which the item will become the property of the Hotel.

§5
ADDITIONAL PROVISIONS

1. Fortuna Penthouse reserves the right not to accept a Guest who has manifestly violated Fortuna Penthouse Policies during a previous stay by causing damage to the property of Fortuna Penthouse, other Guests, or other parties, or who disturbed in any other way the stay of other Guests or Fortuna Penthouse’s operation. This person is required to immediately conform to the requests of the Fortuna Penthouse personnel, in particular to settle payments for the damage caused and to leave Fortuna Penthouse property.

2. Fortuna Penthouse does not accept Guests travelling with pets.

3. Due to fire safety reasons, the use of candles, heaters, electric kettles, and similar devices is prohibited, except for those provided by the Fortuna Penthouse. This provision does not apply to phone and computer chargers.

4. Smoking in Fortuna Penthouse, corridors, staircases, and the apartment is prohibited. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes and all other smoking devices will result in a 500 EUR cleaning fee.

5. Dangerous goods, weapons and ammunition are prohibited in Fortuna Penthouse.

6. The Guest is required to notify the owner or Fortuna Penthouse personnel of any damage immediately after it has been discovered. The Guest bears financial responsibility for any damage or destruction of Fortuna Penthouse amenities or technical equipment caused by them or their visitors.

7. Fortuna Penthouse bears limited liability for the sustained loss or damage of money, securities, valuables, and other items of scientific or artistic value.

8. All the items found in the rooms and common areas are the property of Fortuna Penthouse and may not be carried outside the property. Where a missing item has been discovered after the Guest’s check-out, Fortuna Penthouse reserves the right to charge them with the financial equivalent.
